Setup

  1. 1Install Codex: npm install -g @openai/codex.
  2. 2Add an UltraGPT provider to your user-level ~/.codex/config.toml (project configs cannot define providers) and make it the default.
  3. 3Export ULTRAGPT_API_KEY and run codex.

Tips
  • Any model id from Models works; suffixes like :online (web search) and :nitro work too.
  • Give each tool its own key with a spend limit, so usage shows separately in Activity.
